Stable and Riding Arena with Viewing Room
20-stall Stable includes 4 wings with central timber-framed tower to 22’ high, topped with 10’ octagon custom cupola – attached Riding Arena is 80’ x 208’ Insulated & lined & heated with scissor truss. Approximately 31,000 square feet.
Main framing is studwall on poured concrete foundations.
Exterior is finished with Exterior Insulated System (EIFS) with natural stone perimeter apron with arched stone entrances and custom trims. Roofing cladding is ice and water shield and fibreglass shingles.
South & East wings open to covered porticos with fir and pine underside finishes.
Interior stone and timber accents – wash stalls lined with natural stone. Custom cabinetry in Hickory w quartz tops - Blanket room lined with natural cedar & fully ventilated for drying & fresh air. Complex includes one full kitchen, three washrooms, two tack rooms, one blanket room, mechanical room and laundry room. All doors and hardware were made unique for this project’s owner.
In-floor radiant heat throughout with HVAC system and engineered ventilation system. Also has electrical backup generator, surveillance camera and security system, with remote monitoring, and controls.
Viewing Room includes fireplace, bar and lounge for relaxing & client entertaining. Exposed structural Fir timbers, large natural stone wood burning fireplace w/ south-facing moveable glass wall opens to stone exterior patio with stone planter boxes overlooking sand ring and the river shoreline.
One-of-a-kind custom curved stall fronts and partitions with automatic waterers, feed gates, rubber floor mats, lined with Ash & anti-cast rails.
Manure storage and hot walker included in farmstead design.
