Stratford Perth Residential Hospice Stratford Rotary Hospice - October 26, 2016
The Farm Building community lost an esteemed long-time member and friend; Mike Parker, the CFBA’s former General Manager passed away on Saturday September 17th, 2016. He was the strength behind the Board of Directors for the Canadian Farm Builders Association for nine years. You are welcome to join CFBA representatives in honouring Mike's memory at his Celebration of Life, being held at the Army Navy and Air Force Veterans Club, 151 Lorne Ave E, Stratford, on Sunday October 30th, 2016. As per the family's request, the CFBA has made a donation in Mike's memory to the Stratford Rotary Hospice Project.

 

Camp OochigeasCamp Oochigeas - August 17th, 2016
The CFBA proudly supports member Dufferin Concrete as they collected donations for Camp Oochigeas, a camp for children with cancer at the CFBA's 2016 Annual Golf Tournament: 

 

Canadian Cancer Society - August 17th, 2016
Canadian Cancer SocietyThe CFBA Annual Golf Tournament, held on Wednesday August 17th @ beautiful Grey Silo Golf Club in Waterloo. Bob Groenestege, a golfer with CFBA member H. Van Moorsel Insulation (HVMI) was lucky enough to win the 50/50 Charity Hole. Bob received a $200.00 cheque, and a $200.00 contribution to the charity of his choice. At Bob’s request, a $200. donation has been being made to the Stratford office of the Canadian Cancer Society. We sincerely thank CFBA member McCann Redi Mix for their sponsorship of the 50/50 Charity Hole. 

 

Canadian Red Cross - Alberta Fires Emergency Relief - May 18th, 2016
Alberta Fires Emergency ReliefThe CFBA wishes to show support for the citizens of Fort McMurray & area, and the CFBA Board of Directors approved a $1,000.00 contribution on behalf of CFBA members and the Association. Monies will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross - Alberta Fires Emergency Relief to assist the residents who may have lost their homes and are in distress due to the wild fires that are burning out of control in the area. Donations/pledges will not be requested from CFBA members, but the CFBA will instead donate the $1000.00 on their behalf. We thank our members for their support of this donation.
