The Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes has just released the first information regarding the update to the National Farm Building Code. As you will see in the CCBFC statement (link below), that an update to the Farm Code is a priority. You will notice that they acknowledge the CFBA as a supporter of an updated Code.

The plan remains for new farm building requirements in the 2015 National Building Code with public consultation in 2014.
