CFBA Builder Awards

Builders and Suppliers - It’s the time of year again to consider which of your building projects you'd like to enter in the CFBA Builder Awards competition. This year’s awards program will run similar to last year’s successful format. The highlight is having all entries on display during the annual conference for some great exposure to the rest of the industry. Of course the “People’s Choice” voting also adds a lot of interest and excitement for all in attendance at the conference.

All entries will be based on a number of pictures and a small detailed write-up. After all, "A Picture is worth a Thousand Words". 

The main program details are as follows;

1. All accepted entries, will be displayed at the Annual CFBA Conference complete with photos and project description, grouped by award category. Builder names, logos, and other identification will not be displayed.
2. No limit on the number of entries per builder. One entry form per project.
3. The project must have been completed from October 2014 and on, but not previously submitted.
4. All Entries must be received by Wednesday January 11, 2017. 
5. A fee of $50 is required for each entry to help offset the display costs.
6. All CFBA members attending the full conference program will have the opportunity to “vote” for the most deserving entry in each category. Thus the winning building projects are selected by majority vote, by your peers.
7. The “Project of the Year” award will be selected by a majority vote, across all categories.
8. All entries will be identified at the close of voting and the winning entries will be announced at the dinner. Project displays will be available for pickup after the event.
9. The winning entries will receive media exposure such as Agricultural and Construction publications, via the CFBA newsletter, CFBA website, and other opportunities. Journalists may attend the AGM/Conference event and there may be media interest in the winning Builder Award entries.
